When you begin your hung for a no fee Brooklyn apartment, you need to consider not only the transportation, proximity to grocery stores and laundromats, and so on, but also on the culture of the neighborhood. You want to be in the midst of everything! Theatres, exciting new shows, music, and great hangouts.
The great part about an apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is that you’re in the middle of everything no matter what your interests. This is such a hub of art, performances, and great music. You can check out the listings to find out where the hottest new bands play or where the coolest new art galleries are cropping up. You can pick your part of the neighborhood depending on your interests! It’s not just for the young kids either. There are great museums, opera houses, and art galleries for all ages in Brooklyn!
Think about it, do you want to be in the hub of the world, New York City, and not be around the next Warhol, Pavarotti, or Rolling Stones? You want to be where the culture is. What would your choice be? It’s not hard to find, just hard to choose where to move when you do find it!

We’ve all stumbled on unexpected financial hardships. Maybe you were so anxious to pay off your school loans that you didn’t budget properly, or an accidental spill on your bike sent some hospital bills your way. Any way you slice it, falling behind on bills is a stressful and hard time. Don’t panic though, there are ways to work through it.
Living in a no fee apartment rental can sometimes be stressful in the regard to paying rent when you’re strapped for cash. If you fall behind there are a few things to consider. The first thing you’ll want to do is figure out a budget and a payment plan. Speak to your landlord. Tell them about your hardship and ask them to consider a payment plan. Discussing these things face to face is important, but you also want to have everything you discuss in writing.
Write down a budget for yourself, a realistic one, and try to stick to it. Have your landlord sign off on it and definitely pay what you promised and pay on time.
Consider getting a roommate or, in the most extreme of circumstances, trading your Brooklyn luxury apartment for something a little more in your price range.

Living in the city is a great and amazing thing. You’re among some of the world’s best and brightest and close to everything. Or are you? No fee apartment rentals might seem amazingly appealing on the surface but when it comes time to decide between two, you need to take a look at the transportation close by.
Those apartments in Williamsburg, Brooklyn are ideally placed for location and proximity to transportation. You can get further into Brooklyn or into Manhattan very easily. It might not seem like a big deal to be close to transit, but take it from someone who knows.
When I first moved to New York, I lived at the end of one of the subway lines so close to JFK that I joked my commute non-stop to Iceland would have been shorter than to my job in Manhattan. When we moved, I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal to take the train into the city every day, but after a few weeks of walking to the bus, busing to the train, and the hour train ride, I had had it.
It was time to look elsewhere. I found a great apartment in Brooklyn that cut my commute by almost two thirds! Trust me when I tell you, transportation is important!

Apartment living can be stressful. Your no fee apartment rental most likely doesn’t have a washer or dryer in it (and if it does, kudos to you on the great find) and more than likely you don’t live above a grocery store. If you have both of these things, you’ve hit the proverbial jackpot and we doff our caps to you. The rest of us, however, probably have to travel a little to get necessities.
Living in a no fee apartment rental means finding your way around the neighborhood. Before you move in, I suggest taking a trip around town to see what is close by. You’ll want to make mental notes about where the grocery store is, where the laundromat and dry cleaners are, and if you have a pet, check out the closest vet.
The proximity of these amenities will help you judge whether the apartment is right for you. Traveling ten or twelve blocks with groceries doesn’t seem like a big deal right now, but how are you going to feel in a few months when it’s a blizzard and you have to haul a few gallons of milk back to your place? Take these things into consideration before you make a decision about an apartment.

When you’re looking for a Williamsburg apartment for rent, you should look for the three P’s of Feng Shui. This may sound silly but it can make your no fee apartment rental feel like a luxury mansion!
The first P stands for Path of energy. Energy shouldn’t flow willy-nilly through your apartment. Good energy can leave a void in your home and bad energy can flow through but cause havoc. You want to avoid having windows directly across from windows and doors directly across from doors.
The second P is Plenty of windows. Feng Shui is based a lot on light. The amount of light in your apartment is directly proportional to the amount of good energy in your home. The thinking is that only good energy can come through a window that gets direct natural sunlight. So as long as there isn’t a window directly across from the sunlit window, you should have good energy trapped in your home!
The third and final P is for Pastel kitchen. That sounds weird doesn’t it? The kitchen is where your family’s health is based. A pastel kitchen influences good health for you and your family based on design.
Keep these tips in mind when apartment shopping!

When searching for a no fee apartment rental it might be tempting to feel sorry for the broker who isn’t making a commission from your great apartment that you found without their help. Here’s the thing, you might be feeling sorry for no reason whatsoever.
First of all, brokers are only employed by a landlord when a no fee apartment for rent isn’t getting off the market fast enough. So if you somehow got in good with a landlord or you were simply just faster than all of the other potential clients who were gunning for the place, there might have been no need to use a broker in the transaction at all. If that’s the case then yes, there was a potential for someone outside of the actual transaction to make some money for their trade.
If you come across a no fee apartment, however that is being advertised on behalf of the landlord by a broker but still boasts “no fee” then you shouldn’t worry. They’re not working for free. In these situations it’s like the landlord is giving a deal on the apartment to get it off the market. The landlord will pay the broker fee just to get the apartment rented. That’s what a no fee apartment is!

Finding Brooklyn no fee apartments is pretty easy. Well, it’s easy when you use a service like My Space NYC. They make that part simple. The hard part can be actually understanding the lease that you need to sign to secure the Brooklyn luxury apartment of your dreams.
First, don’t plan on signing the lease on move in day. New York is a busy town and people like to have their affairs in order. It’s also a city where people are looking to move and move fast. This being said, many landlords will want you to sign a lease almost immediately upon deciding you want the apartment. Another good reason to plan on signing before move in is that you won’t be surprised by something in the lease that was not agreed upon and have all of your worldly possessions in a truck outside. Leave time for negotiating.
You need to read carefully the terms of the lease. Yes, it’s a lot of legalese and it can be sometimes difficult to understand. However, it’s very important that you know what you’re signing. Make sure you read the parts about how long the lease is going to last and the consequences of breaking it. Also, make sure to read any attached amendments such as “no pets*” (*exception: our two lovable kittens.)
